Local residents tell FOCUS that repairs to Hackney Council’s housing are not being done. The photo shows damp in Oberon House. This was reported to the council weeks ago, even directly to a Labour councillor, but still has not been repaired. Do you have similar problems? Are you getting a good service from the Labour council?
The damp problem in Caliban Tower is not being attended to, I have had to scrub, treat, repaint and repair as a result. Some flats stink from the problem, this can't be good for residents health!
ReplyDeleteDamp is actually quite a serious health issue if left untreated for a period of time. I'll add it to the list of issues we'll raise.
